Topic of the Life Group: "Living in the Goodness of God" is a study on Psalm 23 by Rick Warren, some worship together, lots of cake, prayer and fun.

“Is God always good? What about those times of pain and suffering? Even during difficult times, God wants to reassure you; he wants you to have hope and favor. Throughout history, many successful men and women are described as having God’s favor — but what does that mean? Favored people get special treatment and benefits that others don’t get. When you have God’s favor, you are his favorite. God’s goodness and favor toward you isn’t based on your performance — it’s based on what Jesus already did for you. In this series, you’ll learn how to have God’s favor on your life by trusting him. Discover how God’s goodness is the answer to worry, regret, indecision, emotional pain, and fear."

Address of the Life Group: Fraser’s home in the 22nd District
Date and Time: Sunday evening from 18:30-20:30

Topic of the Life Group: Many followers of Jesus know they should be growing spiritually, but feel stuck. They have been told to pray and read their Bible more, but they find it burdensome and unrewarding. They may have tried and failed to establish good practices of spiritual disciplines. The biblical model laid out in 2 Peter 1:5-7 tells us to add seven attributes to our faith - namely virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.

You will learn how to make a personal spiritual growth plan that is flexible enough to fit into your weekly schedule and start growing spiritually like never before.
